Lymphatic drainage

Lymphatic drainage

A soothing path to better health

Lymphatic drainage is a gentle therapeutic technique that promotes the circulation of lymph, thereby stimulating the immune system and helping to eliminate toxins. Using precise, rhythmic movements, lymphatic drainage helps reduce swelling, relieve muscle tension and improve healing. This non-invasive method can be beneficial for various conditions, including water retention, circulatory problems, scars and recovery after surgery.

The treatments offered at our centre

The Centre Paramédical de Waterloo offers two techniques.

The first is manual lymphatic drainage using the Leduc method. The Leduc method is a specific approach to manual lymphatic drainage that aims to stimulate lymph circulation using precise, rhythmic movements. This method focuses on activating the lymph nodes and lymphatic vessels to promote the elimination of toxins and reduce swelling.

Pressotherapy, for its part, uses pneumatic devices to apply sequential pressure, thereby promoting drainage and decongestion.

Together, these two methods provide effective relief and overall revitalisation of the body.
