Data protection statement.

We, Poils et Plumes SRL, with our registered office in Corbais, Belgium, respect your privacy. All data we collect is used to improve what we offer. Protecting personal data is one of our main concerns across all our processes. In line with Article 13 of the GDPR, this statement explains what information we record when you visit our web pages or enter one of our competitions, and how we use it. It does not cover other companies’ websites that link to ours.

1. Collection and processing of personal data

When you visit our pages, our servers temporarily record access data: your IP address, session ID, and the date and time of your visit. This data is deleted in line with legal requirements. Other personal data is only recorded if you provide it voluntarily, for example when entering a competition, answering a survey or visiting a store.

2. Transfer over the internet

Sensitive data (username, password, contact details) is only sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL) and stored on secure servers.

3. Use and disclosure

We use your data for our competitions and other targeted commercial purposes related to the brand, in line with the regulations and our legitimate business interests. We only use it for product surveys or marketing with your prior consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Data is only shared with public authorities where the law requires it, and never with private third parties. If you sign up for the newsletter, your email address is used until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time via the link in the newsletter. You have the right to free access, correction, blocking or deletion of your data by emailing axelle@poilsetplumes.be.

4. Cookies

To make our pages more pleasant and enable certain features, we use cookies: small text files stored on your device. Some are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others remain to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, which may limit some features.

5. Security

Poils et Plumes applies a wide range of technical and organisational measures to protect your data against misuse, manipulation or unauthorised access. These measures are continually improved.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have, among others, the right of access (Art. 15), to rectification and erasure (Arts. 16 and 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), to object (Art. 21), and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).
